Proceeds raised from both the donation drive and benefit concert will be split between the Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity AND the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

The Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity is actively involved in the rebuilding of homes and lives for families and individuals in the Nashville communities. In the aftermath of natural disasters – including floods – the Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity becomes an even more important facet in helping those who have lost their homes rebuild and re-locate into a new one.

The Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee was directly impacted by the historic flood. The Food Bank lost about 50,000 pounds of refrigerated food due to power outages in Metro Center and was not able to operate out of their building for several days after the flood. With the help of staff and volunteers, all disaster relief emergency food boxes were relocated to another facility. Second Harvest is now back in their warehouse and has distributed more than 250,000 pounds of food to people in need since the floods.
